Daisy aka Molly

"We came to the shelter with the intention to look ... maybe for a small dog. When we saw Daisy (aka Molly in the July 06 Gallery), we weren't leaving without her.

She is doing really well, adjusting to our family. She loves going in the truck and loves all her new toys.

We are so thankful to have her. Her collar even has daisies on it!! She has grown so much!!! So much for a small dog .... she'll be quite LARGE. Thats ok its nice to watch her grow. Thank you for her we love her so much!!"

Misty the Gerbil

"Hi. I would just like to thank you for Misty, my lilac (grey) gerbil. She is very comical and I love her very much. She is my very first REAL pet, and is the queen of two cages.

I think Misty's sport is chewing. If that was a sport in track and field, she would win first place. Misty has suffered a broken leg in an attemp to fly from my dresser to my bed. Once she was airborn, she discovered she had no wings, so she crashed to the floor and broke her front leg. It healed quite nicely, and is back to doing crazy stunts (aka chewing on frogs, cage climbing, and almost sliding off the top floor of her cage).

She is a great companion and I hope to adopt another gerbil from your shelter (maybe).

Thanks again,
Maddie and Misty

Turbo

"Here are a couple of pictures of Turbo. We adopted him in May before you were able to get a picture of him and we wanted to send you a couple so that you can show off the great work you have done at finding homes for animals in need.

Thank you so much for all you do for these animals. We have found a wonderful addition to our family in Turbo and couldn't imagine our lives without him!"

Tyson aka Dexter

"We just wanted to share some pictures of Tyson (better known to you as Dexter), who we adopted July 4/06 from the shelter. He is fitting in just perfectly with his older sister Bella (on the bed with him), and his older brother Lachlan (who chose not to be in the picture on the bed). He has been a great addition to the family, and the most perfect little puppy. Not even one accident in the house so far!
We would just like to say Thank you, to all who work at the shelter for doing what you do - Caring for animal kind!
God bless!

Sammy aka Daisy

"It has been awhile since i last let you know how Sammy (aka Daisy) was doing. She is doing great, and loves being spoilt. She has been to camp and many road trips with me. She loves car rides better than walks. This summer we will be moving to BC with her, and she will have plenty of room to run around. Here is a new pic of her that I took last week."
