Kali aka Sheila

"We adopted Sheila (now known as Kali) January 26, 2007. The first week she was quite a snuggler but now that she is use to the house she is an energenic kitten even though she is a young adult. She follows my husband and I around the house. Wherever you go in the house, she follows. Watch out if you have food because her nickname is Mooch.

We are glad we decided to adopt because she bring great joy and laughter to our lives."

Raja aka Muffin

"Hello again, here are some photos of Raja. we adopted her from you in December of 05. Her name at the time of adoption was Muffin. Her control # was SSMH034644A. she was appx 2 months old when we got her from you. She was adopted by my mother for my son as a Christmas present. He is allergic to most cats, but Raja, being a Russian Blue is a species of cat that he can be around without any symptoms!

She has been a wonderful addition to our family and is very spoiled! she rules the house. She is a very loveable girl! She loves my son very much; you will find her wherever you find my son; they nap together, eat together and sleep together. At bed time he just says: "I am going to bed now Raja" and she will race him up the stairs to get into bed! She even sleeps under the covers! She is also a very "talkative" cat, she is always making sounds and talking to us. Thank you so much for such a wonderful cat! we love her very much!

Attatched are a couple of photos of Raja and her and her master Brendan."

Toby aka Ben

"Yes, we adopted again!! We adopted Toby (aka Ben) in January. Toby is about the same age as Willy, 10-12 months old. We adopted Willy who is on the site in October last year. We decided that Willy needed a friend to run and play his energy off! Toby is settling in well with his new mate and they are having lots of fun together. It is such a joy and pleasure in our lives to have them around.

Thanks, to all the staff and volunteers for doing a great job looking after these little orphans.

Please feel free to put our story on Toby on the site.

Sincerely, Jayne Sparkes & Rod Westwood

Gryffen aka Boo

"Hello, I'm emailing an update on the little kitten Boo that I had adopted at the end of July. His name is now Gryffen, and he is nearly 7 months old. He's been a joy as well as a headache some days, but what else do you expect from an energetic kitten? He certainly loves to play, and has tons of toys which he seems to make disappear all the time.

He's quite an independent cat, but at times will come and cuddle, or ask for attention. He likes to sit on my homework while I'm working on it, or play with my pencil. He isn't very vocal, but at times has his moments where he will respond to me with his meow that is half like a purr. He also likes to ask me to turn on the water in the tub so that he can get a drink. One of his other pastimes is to play with his cousins (my sister's 2 cats). One day I hope to get him a little brother or sister to play with as well.

I am very thankful to have Gryffen, things would certainly be very quiet here without him, and he makes this little apartment certainly feel like home. And he certainly keeps things interesting." Sincerely, Chantal
