Jasper

Hello,

My name is Kylie. I am 12 years old. My family adopted our dog Jasper (border collie mix), originally named Boo from the humane society in August 2000. When we got him, he was around 1 1/2, and now is a beautiful 5 years old. We believe that he was abused prior to being in the humane society ... because he is very nervous around strangers and is arfaid of pretty much everything. Jasper is very gentle around small children and is a big couch patatoe.

When we were trying to name him he would bark at the names he didn't like.

We then decided on Jipper, but since my youngest sister couldn't pronounce his name, we named him Jasper.

Jasper is, and always will be, a very special member of our family! We love him terribly and couldn't bear to have anything happen to him. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful dog!

Jazz

Our Family adopted Jazz ( aka Dolly or Shania) in April 2001. She is a Yorkshire Terrier, and she has become a very important member of our family! We all love her very much, but she loves Daddy the most. Jazz loves going for walks, and chasing the kitty's next door. Thanks to the Humane Society we got the puppy and I got the baby that I had been dreaming of for quite some time!

Diego

This is my 4 year old dog Diego. I got him at the Humane Society at 6 weeks old. He is the happiest dog I know. He now also has two legs towards his obedience title in the North American Mix Breed Registry and is a Canine Good Neighbour. In the pictures I added there is one the day I got him, one at a year old and one taken this summer when he hurt his paw - all healed up I am happy to say. I thank God everyday for bringing Diego to me. He is a special dog.
