Oakley, Buddy and Bebe

"Hello..me again! we just recently adopted another cat from the humane society .... Oakley! We LOVE him! He is the most affectionate cat EVER ... he is the greatest kitty with an amazing personality! Him and Buddy almost killed eachother for the first few days ... fur was flying and all we heard were cat screams ... it was BAD!! But we kept Oakely in a bedroom with litterbox and food and water and let him out a few times a day and now they are great friends! I have attached some pics here, actually all 3 of them are friends ... Buddy. Oakley, and our dog Bebe! I hope that you can post Oakley's pics on the website as well as maybe an update on Buddy ... we adopted him in March 2006. We got Oakely from the Black Road Vet. Thanks!!"

Suzy aka Stride

"Hi There,

I am writing concerning a dog we adopted from the Humane Society in July of 2005. Her name was Stride but her name is now Suzy. My borfriend went to the shelter looking for a small dog and he came home with Suzy the biggest German Shepard mix I have ever seen. She was once a skinny hyper dog but has now filled out a lot and is very attentive. She has made a great companion although she is very mouthy! here are some new pictures of her."

RJ aka Kaiser

"We adopted Kaiser approximately 2003, pretty sure it was in March. He is a wonderful dog, still is VERY hyper. He seems to be finally be settling down now. November he will be 5 years old, but still running around as if he was still 4 months old again.

The day we brought him home from the shelter, well interestingly enough, one of the shelter workers told us, "Have fun!", which gave us the impression we were in for a lot of work. Believe it or not, the moment we got him out the door, he was a different dog. Seems he just wanted to get out of the shelter. I remember asking my boyfriend, "Why would they name a dog after a bun?" He chuckled and told me what "kaiser" was..... LOL.

We have renamed him RJ, and as you can see in the picture his ears are now standing up straight. He gets along wonderfully with other 6 year old dog Rocky; our cats, that is another story. Well to make a long story short, RJ has been wonderful addition to our family, and we wouldn't change a thing.

Below are a few photos of RJ, as you can see he doesn't sit still very well for pictures. Loves to chase the flashes .. LOL."

This is RJ (red collar). Other black dog was a friend's visiting, and the rump which looks like a diary cow is our other dog Rocky. As you can see RJ loves to run, and has lots of room to do so.

Jazzy (Jasmine Adopted Feb 19/07)

Jazzy's family writes:

"Here is Jazzy hard at work on my lap at the six o'clock news. She is very sweet, lovable and playful. But she is a finicky eater. Only Fancy Feast will do. lol But we love her dearly. Hubby is going to build her an enclosure for when we move out to camp for the summer. She found the right home. She sure knows our schedules and even tells us when to go to bed. lol"
