Lily

Lily's Family writes:

"Lily was adopted at the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society about two years ago.

Wanted to let you know she is doing just fine and has brought a lot of love and laughter to our home. She is loved very much!"

Oakley

"Hi,

We adopted Oakley from the shelter the 3rd of April. Her name at the shelter when we adopted her was Sedona. Here are some pictures of her sleeping with her new friend "teddy" and sitting in the sun. We love having her here with us and are so glad we adopted her. We get a lot of compliments on her quiet attitude and brindle coat. She is now in obedience training with us and seems to be enjoying it and is a very smart puppy.

Thanks for a great companion for us! "

Sissy and Chelsey

"We got our first dog Sissy in 1989 from the Humane Society. Sissy passed away on January 29 2004."
"Eight months later in October 2004, we got Chelsey, one of Sally's pups."
"Chelsey is very timid and scared of people, but if someone has the time to let Chelsey get to know them, they will be her new best friend. She is my bed buddy and sleeps with me every night. She is such a cuddle bug! Chelsey is now 8 months old and is very well behaved. I really would like to thank the Humane Society for 14+ years of great companionship.

I just finished my final year of the Graphic Design Program at Sault College. For my final project I develop my own dog food called Endurance." Chelsey appears on the third can from the left in the photo on the attached page.

Thanks

Ty

The following update is from Ty's family: "This is Ty. We adopted him July 31, 2004 for my birthday. He was brought back a few times by people who felt he was too energetic and they could not control him. I can tell you now that I think they made a huge mistake!

When we first got him he was really hyper, and did not listen very well. After he graduated Ciera Canine Services he was a reformed dog. He just needed a little direction. He behaves so well now and does many tricks on command. He also recently protected us from a burglar. He ripped the screen off the door to try and get to the intruder. That person left extremely quick, and we have not had a problem since.

He is my kids best friend and my dearest companion. He even keeps the other side of the bed warm when my fiance works nights! I am extremely thankful that his other owners brought him back because I would be lost without him!"

Domi and Tie

The Family of Domi and Tie write in:

These are our dogs that our family has adopted from the Humane Society. Domi was adopted last May, and after a few months we decided that Domi needed a playmate. We knew that we wanted another small dog, so we waited until Tie came along in December. Not only are these two dogs adorable, but they have amazing personalities as well.

We are so happy to have them join our family!! Thank you soooo much!
