Geology & Structure

 

-         Property adjoins Golden Goose Resources’ Magino Gold Deposit and Patricia Mining Corp. Island-Lochalsh Gold Deposit,

-         Property is situated at the lithotectonic boundary between younger mafic volcanic cycle and older felsic volcanic cycle, separated by iron formation (Goudreau Iron Range),

-         Property is on strike with the Goudreau Lake Shear Zone, a productive gold-bearing structure.

 

 

 

Geological/Structural Model

Target Areas

 

-         NNW trending late faults known to host gold mineralization (i.e. Pine Zone and Michael Syndicate occurrences – Patricia Mining Corp.)

-         Brittle-ductile deformation of mafic intrusives (i.e. Kremzar Gold Deposit)

-         Sheared felsic intrusives (i.e. Magino Gold Deposit – Golden Goose Resources)

-         Remobilized iron formation, particularly areas around fold noses (Morrison #1 – Patricia Mining Corp.),

-         Inferred ductile shear zones parallel to Goudreau Lake Shear Zone.
